I nedanstående reportage i tidningen Chef uttalar jag mig om vad som krävs av oss alla, läs den!
I samband med artikeln tänkte jag därför erbjuda dig en tjänst. Jag gör det för din skull så jag kommer därför inte tjata om det. Om du ännu inte förstår hur fruktansvärt illa och akut läget är så tillhör du inte målgruppen och kan sluta läsa här.
För att vara helt klar, jag sysslar inte med välgörenhet. Min uppgift är att på alla sätt försöka lindra den oundvikliga klimatkatastrof som kommer drabba oss alla.
Vad som behövs mest av allt just nu är massiv, fredlig, demokratisk, civil olydnad. Det har historiskt aldrig skett en snabb och omfattande samhällsförändring utan just civil olydnad som katalysator. Så om du köper ekologiskt, kör elbil eller kanske jobbar med frågor relaterade till klimatet så är det ingenting i jämförelse med vad du kan åstadkomma genom att stödja fredlig civil olydnad. Jag kommer precis tillbaks från 10 dagar i Norge där vi i Extinction Rebellion (XR) blockerade oljehamnar, departement, oljebolagens huvudkontor samt vägar. Resultatet var 400 artiklar och 7 dagars TV bevakning. Klimatkrisen, artutrotningen och Norsk olja seglade upp som den viktigaste valfrågan inför det stundande Norska valet.
Så civil olydnad fungerar! Dock kostade det 180 arresteringar och mer än 2 miljoner i böter och mer än hundra åtal. Jag fick själv 3 åtal och 30.000:- i böter.Så nu till mitt erbjudande. Jag kan ge dig möjligheten att se dina barn i ögonen och säga: ”Jag gjorde vad jag kunde!”
Mitt erbjudande till dig är en möjlighet att stå på rätt sida av historien och på det mest effektiva sättet rädda din och dina barns framtid. Det som krävs av dig är mod och uppoffring.
Det viktigaste du kan göra är att engagera dig i Extinction Rebellion. Gå på ett intromöte. Var med på en aktion. Uppoffringen är tid, pengar och risken att bryta sociala kontakter med både vänner och familj. Du kommer succesivt gå utanför din bekvämlighetszon, pressa dina gränser och bli mer och mer modig. Har du inte möjlighet eller modet att själv gå med i XR bör du donera pengar till Extinction Rebellion. Jag talar inte om de vanliga summorna som brukar anges när det handlar om välgörenhet. Här handlar det om en investering i dig och dina barn. Uppoffringen måste stå i relation till katastrofens akuta omfattning. Har du möjlighet, sätt in 10.000:- i månaden på XR’s konto eller skänk ett engångsbelopp på några hundratusen. Har du sämre ekonomi, tänk över vad du kan skänka. Det handlar inte om att stilla ett dåligt samvete, det handlar om att göra det rätta i rätt tid.Som en morot kommer jag matcha alla donationer upp till mitt eget bötesbelopp, 30.000:- Mitt erbjudande gäller oktober ut.

In the article below, printed in Chef magazine, I speak about what is required of all of us – please read it!
And therefore in connection with this article, I am offering you a service. I am doing it for your benefit, so I will not harass you about it. If you don’t already understand how serious and acute the situation is, you are not the correct target audience and can stop reading now.
To be clear, I am not engaging in charity. My function is to in every way possible attempt to alleviate the unavoidable climate catastrophe that will afflict us all.
What is needed more than anything at this time is massive, peaceful, democratic civil disobedience. Historically, there has never been a rapid and extensive societal change without civil disobedience as a catalyst. So if you buy organic products, drive an electric car, or even work with issues related to climate change, it pales in comparison to what you can achieve by supporting peaceful civil disobedience.
I have just returned from 10 days in Norway, where as a part of Extinction Rebellion (XR) we barricaded oil shipping ports, the oil department, the oil companies’ head office, and city roads. This resulted in 400 printed articles and 7 days of TV coverage. The climate crisis, the extinction of species, and Norwegian oil quickly rose to become the most important issue of the approaching election in Norway.
Civil disobedience works! It did cost us 180 arrests and over 2 million crowns in fines, with over 100 indictments. I personally received 3 indictments and 30,000 crowns in fines.Now to my offer. I can give you the opportunity to look your children in the eyes and say: ”I did what I could.”My offer to you is the opportunity to stand on the correct side of history and to save your and your children’s futures in the most effective way possible. What is required of you is courage and sacrifice.
The most important thing you can do is to become active in Extinction Rebellion. Go to an introduction meeting. Join an action. The sacrifice is time, money, and the risk of breaking off social contacts with both friends and family. You will gradually move outside of your comfort zone, push your limits, and become more and more courageous.If it is not possible for you or you do not have the courage to join Extinction Rebellion yourself, you should donate money to XR. I am not talking about the us
ual amounts that we usually see for charity. This is about an investment in yourself and your children. Sacrifice must be relative to the catastrophe’s acute magnitude. If it is possible for you, deposit 10,000 SEK a month into XR’s account, or donate a one-time sum of a few hundred thousand crowns. If you have more limited funds, consider what is possible for you to donate. It is not about soothing a bad conscience; it is about doing the right thing at the right time.
As an incentive, I will match all donations up to the amount of my own fine of 30,000 SEK. This offer stands through the month of October.
